Today I finally felt like all my coupon clipping paid off. I saved over $35 with my coupons today and I didn’t buy any unnecessary junk food just because I had a coupon. Several shopping hours of work found me climbing into the van, putting down the back seats and filling it up. I was so pleased with myself I decided to blog about it.
I shop every two weeks and meal plan the same way. However, this week I saw something that has really got me thinking and I have created a new 5 week meal rotation.
After reading Lena's post over at Our Life’s Mosaic the mystery was lifted from the idea of a rotation and I felt free to create my own. Dinners rotate on a 5 week schedule but breakfast and lunch rotate every 7 days. I will post the essential details soon. Right now I need to get some rest before we spring forward.
